BIOWARFARE AS ECONOMIC WARFARE

What is war? Typically it is killing and damaging the enemy, so that they will accept to be governed and exploited by the victor. In the past, the defeated populations were made slaves, forced to work for their owners. In that period labor was only provided by humans and animals, so to achieve a comfortable lifestyle for their own populations, kings and emperors had to have a large slaveholding. Such was the behavior of the Roman and other empires. After the industrial era and the use of carbon and oil, however, the energy needed for production is no longer obtained from slaves and animals. Today, the new emperors fight mainly for control of the supply of gas and oil. Few people know that Hitler and the Germans tried to conquer Russia in order to gain access to the oil fields of Central Asia: Iran, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan. He nearly succeeded in this strategy, but was stopped by the winter and by the Russian Army: he ran out of fuel for his tanks and trucks before he was able to conquer the oil fields of Central Asia.

Today we have similar wars. If you look at the crisis zones of the world, you will always see the presence of oil and the effort to procure it or seize these oil fields by aggressor nations. The Hormuz strait provides such an instance: 33% of world oil has to transit the strait on big oil tankers. Iran, where a government not aligned with the USA politics is ruling, is on its northern side. In the past Iran was governed by the Shah, a despot aligned with the USA, but due to his mistakes—he and his ministers and government living too luxuriously—a rebellion, headed by a religious leader, the Ayatollah Khomeini, overthrew his government. Currently the USA no longer has full control of the strait and is always trying to destabilize Iran’s political power in many ways, such as the killing of Iranian general, Qassem Soleimani, on January 3, 2020 that nearly led to the outbreak of war by the USA against Iran. The same kind of events are happening in Venezuela as had previously happened in IRAQ and in Libya. In all these instances, if the local oil fields are not owned by the USA or are not managed by states close to the USA, destabilization and wars take place. Since the common people of the western democracies are always looking for morally acceptable behavior when it comes to electing new generations of their political leaders, the leaders of USA and the allied NATO countries are forced to use deceptive wording—“Peace Keeping” and “Peace Enforcing”—to justify their military interventions. That said, nobody cares about what is happening in some central African states, where despotic dictators exploit their peoples without any respect for human life.

A different situation and perception of antagonisms is happening in China. Here we have a country that is not democratic, that is developing at a very fast rate, doubling the economic development parameters of whichever western country.
